A man in Scotland has been convicted of posting a horrible tweet online about the late Captain Tom Moore.
Captain Tom Moore was a 99-years-old World War veteran who went viral after he completed his goal of walking 100 lengths of his back garden.
Joseph Kelly (the idiot in this case) tweeted after the captain's death.
The only good Brit soldier, is a dead one, burn auld fella, buuuuuurn.
Kelly later told his friends it was the dumbest thing he's ever done and also deleted the tweet. However, simply facing online backlash and people voicing their opinion on what a horrible tweet it was. Nor was it enough he'd apologised and deleted the tweet. The Scottish government got involved and charged him under Section 127 of the Commuications Act (2003) and he now faces sentencing next month.
