In the U.S there is an official government webpage where people can voluntarily send extra cash to Washington, but the amount of money raised is so low it's not even worth mentioning.
This isn't just limited to the U.S, in Norway, a voluntary tax payment scheme was launched. But the initiative has resulted in only $1,325 in extra revenue so far. The tax scheme was set up to allow those who thought the tax level was too low and wanted to pay more tax to do so.
Likewise, The state of Massachusetts has a program for voluntary tax payments, but the Boston Globe revealed that Elizabeth Warren (a great proponent of higher taxes) hadn't done so.
