Trump’s refusal to concede the election was disgraceful, as was his harebrained fantasies about it being ‘rigged’ against him. But the idea that he was ‘inciting violent insurrection’ last January is nonsense.
Trump has been banned by the world's most powerful social media companies, a medium that has become the principal method of campaigning. If or when Trump runs in 2024 a handful of powerful companies in effect have a strong influence on who becomes the next president.
