In 2020, 1300 people died via assisted suicide in Switzerland. They were assisted by Exit and Dignitas, the two largest euthanasia organisations in the country.
A 3D-printed capsule called "Sarco" has been legalised in Switzerland. It offers a different approach to a peaceful death, without the need for prescription substances.
Assisted suicide could be one of the topics for political discourse and disagreement over the next generation, as it's set to become more common and accepted.
