Quebec Premier François Legault announced on Tuesday that the province will apply a "significant" financial penalty for residents who refuse to get vaccinated against COVID-19 for non-medical reasons. Legault said $50 or $100 "is not significant" enough for him and that details will be announced in the coming weeks.
The question is then, what happens to anyone who refuses to pay the fine? perhaps they face incarceration. What if they fail to still get vaccinated?
