🎧 Minimum Wage Bankrupts Restaurant Chain

Restaurants Unlimited, a Seattle-based chain with restaurant locations in 47 US cities, announced its bankruptcy, citing minimum wage laws.


Although minimum wage hikes are popular amongst the general population, that doesn't necessarily mean they're good for the economy.


Economists say they create a surplus of unskilled labor and can actually give employers an unfair bargaining advantage.
