Covid-19 Used to Abuse Free Speech Rights

Governments should counter Covid-19 by encouraging people to mask up, not shut up.

According to Human Rights Watch, at least 83 countries have used COVID-29 and the excuse of public safety to justify infringing on free speech and freedom to peacefully assemble. Authorities from several countries have physically assaulted, detained and in some cases killed critics.
